How to perform the installation and / or upgrade to ESXi 7.0b
In this article we will, I will demonstrate how to perform the installation of ESXi 7.0b. However, the procedure also applies to update the existing ESXi.

To perform the demonstration of the procedure, the items used are listed below:
1 - Download the iso on VMware website
2 - Create the “bootable” thumb drive with Rufus.
1 - Turn on the server
2 - Press the F12, F10, F8 or F4 key (depending on your server model) and enter the boot menu;
3 - Select the pen drive and press the Enter key;
The operating system will now load
4 - On the welcome screen, press the Enter key:
5 - On the Licensing screen, press the F11 key to accept and continue with the installation:
6 - Wait for the drives to be scanned:
7 - Select the hard drive where the ESXi will be installed and press enter to continue:
8 - Select the option “Install ESXI, overwrite VMFS datastore” and press the enter key:
Note: On this server, ESXi 6.7.3 was installed. That is why the screen for selecting options appears:
* Upgrade ESXi, preserve VMFS datastore = Upgrade the ESXi version and preserve the datastore files.
* Install ESXi, preserve VMFS datastore = Install ESXi, preserving the datastore files.
* Install ESXi, overwrite VMFS datastore = Install ESXi, and overwrite files in the datastore.
9 - Select your keyboard model and press Enter:
10 - Set a password for the root user.
Remember this password well and / or keep it in a safe place. Like, for example, the software KeePass.
11 - During the process, I was signaled by the fact that the server's CPU Dell PowerEdge R210 II not support future versions of ESXi.
WARNING: For the production environment, it is essential to carry out the validation of Compatibility matrix ESXi 7 installation instructions.

12 - On the confirmation screen, press the F11 key to sequence:
13 - Wait for the installation process:
14 - After completing the installation process, select the option “Remove the installation media before rebooting” to remove the installation media and restart the server.
Press enter to restart the server:
15 - Wait for the server to restart:
16 - ESXi operating system booted:
